As the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors studies whether to close Whiteman Airport, this is a critical moment for the community to come together and be heard.
Whiteman Airport has long been a vital part of the San Fernando Valley, supporting emergency fire and rescue response, the economy, and pathways into aviation careers. Now, there’s an important opportunity to engage directly in a conversation about its future.
The Pacoima Neighborhood Council is hosting a community presentation and discussion with members of the Whiteman Airport Coalition. This is a chance to share accurate information, answer questions, and make sure the community understands what’s at stake.
Many of you have asked how you can help. This is one of the most important ways.
We need strong support and turnout.
